This is our primary fundraiser for our scholarship fund which gives $20,000 each year, as well as our charity fund. Caitlin has a diverse fitness and exercise background, having led various practices for many years - starting with step aerobics over twenty years ago! She's been a proud barre3 studio owner since 2011 and has lived in Whatcom County since 1996. She and her husband Rob,also own No.1 Automotive and Scotty Browns Restaurant. Beyond her passion for her work, Caitlin believes living her best life includes spending an equal amount of time with her husband, their two children, and their dogs. Outside the studio you'll find Caitlin reading, traveling, enjoying great food and relaxing with friends and family.

Maluhia Vander Griend is Owner and Artistic Director of Dancing for Joy where, along with 28 employees, she teaches and mentors 900 student hours per week. In addition to several annual performances at the Mt. Baker Theater, the dancers do benefits to provide wells in Ethiopia. Maluhia's other businesses include ArtPeace (instruction for all ages), a Love-to-Learn preschool, and a Stomping Grounds coffee shop.
