We invite you to attend one meeting as a guest to get a feel for the group before submitting an application, you can even come a second time if you want to be sure. After your second meeting, you will need to apply to be a member to continue to access the benefits of Whatcom Women in Business. 

General Member

$130/yr

General members must meet the following qualifications. 

  • Attend at least (5) Regular Membership Meetings per calendar year
  • Serve on at least (1) committee
  • Participate in the Professional Women of the Year Awards by volunteering, sponsoring, or contributing talent to make the event a success
  • Stay current with membership dues, which are renewed annually in January
  • Make every effort to attend the November Annual Meeting as you must be present to vote
  • Reflect and uphold the values of Whatcom Women in Business

Patron Member

$200/yr

Patron Member must have been an Active General Member for 3+ years before moving to Patron. They can be working in, retired, or living in Whatcom County.

  • Patron Members must have been active members for at least three years before applying for Patron level
  • Patron Members do not have voting rights
  • Patron Members are encouraged to serve on committees but is optional
  • May attend up to (3) three Membership Meetings per year, at least one of which must be a Regular Membership Meeting
  • Support the programs of Whatcom Women in Business as needed
  • Reflect and uphold the values of Whatcom Women in Business
