We invite you to attend one meeting as a guest to get a feel for the group before submitting an application, you can even come a second time if you want to be sure. After your second meeting, you will need to become a member to continue to access the benefits of Whatcom Women in Business. Below are the different membership levels and descriptions.

General Member

120/yr

General members must meet the following qualifications. Membership is limited to no more than 20% of total membership in each business category.

  • Attend a minimum of 5 meetings or socials per year
  • Participate on at least one committee
  • Participate in the annual Professional Woman of the Year Awards

Student Member

$

60/yr

Student members must meet the same requirements as general members. Student members will have the opportunity to be connected with a mentor within the organization to help them navigate and fulfill their responsibilities as members. 

  • Attend a minimum of 5 meetings or socials per year
  • Participate on at least one committee
  • Participate in the annual Professional Woman of the Year Awards

Patron Member

$

200/yr

Patron Members must qualify and apply for membership the same as general membership. 

  • Required to attend a minimum of 2 meetings per year
  • Invited, but not required, to participate in a committee.
  • Invited to attend annual holiday party 
  • Must be present to vote on the end of the year charity
